Averting Disaster

Ball Joint

Just got my car fixed … the mechanic at Genesee Automotive (a couple of the few mecahnics I know I can trust) said it needed work soon and was right — it was so loose, it is obvious to me now it wouldn’;t have lasted much longer before “cracking the half-axle” (whatever that means). He said it would mean a thourough breakdown and a tow, and when i asked him about it possibly happening at 70 m.p.h. on the 219 (as in the highway I take on Thursdays to and from East Otto), he didn’t even want to tell me.

As for averting financial disaster, I’ve continued the pace of the previous week or so with more appointments for doing more web work. I just realized I now have new projects not only in Erie County (where I live), but also Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegheny, and Wyoming. Pretty much covers all of southern Western New York! Getting paid promptly … well, let’s hope for the best.
