Right off the bat I apologize for anyone who takes this humor column offensive, but it should give some insight into why Republicans aren’t evil even if they are contemptuous of people who feel the governement is the answer to their own problems.
And it also gives you a glimpse of why the heartless Republican stereotype is just that – a stereotype. Being a business owner, I completely understand where he’s coming from, and would like to think I was brought up right to have such values myself. Actually, I lived on both sides of the fence, and this is my way of playing devil’s advocate to the left, much as I would do to the right if the need arose.

That’s why people’s reactions to the election is so much more disturbing than any election outcome.
“I don’t care who’s in office. I’ll be over here figuring out the next way to do well for myself and the people I care about. If things change, I’ll change too.”
