I shaved for the Father-Daughter Dance tonight.
On another note, my computer is freezing up due to RAM issues … I’m on 256Mb right now while running WinXP, and my needs are greater than most, so I’m limited to one or two larger applications at a time. It may be time for that major upgrade. If only I could afford it right now with tuition and raxes coming up … geesh.
Re: That’s the problem.
If it is the slot, good luck finding a motherboard for your older CPU. You might end up having to get a new CPU, mobo and RAM, which would probably run around $300 depending on what you got.
Have you actually looked at the board and chips? Maybe one is just loose or something… I’ll have to look at it.
That’s the problem.
I HAD 512 Mb, but one of the chips and/or slots isn’t working. If it’s the slot, I may just buy another computer, or at least a new case and motherboard.
If it’s the chip, I’ll buy a 512 and add it to the working 256. That would hold me for a while.
I thought you had 512 MB.
But yeah, you could definitely use 1GB. And probably a backup, format & reinstall at this point.
