My …

A Poem

My God has no name
He does not fit on a coffe table in a book cover
He does not fit on the wall or on the altar
But He fits in my heart, the unmappable place
My God has no name

My God has no name
He doesn't wear a name tag
He doesn't wear a uniform
But He walks among us, and could be anyone
My God has no name

My God has no name
He has no philosopy, no religion
He is not taxed or tax-exempt
But He is I am, called by man ten thousand things more
My God has no name

My God has no name
He expects nothing but waits
He is Love without condition
But no poem or word can capture it, for He is Word
