Dear Google:
Thank you for developing a toolbar for my start bar in Windows XP. However, upon visitng a site within the “window” instead of Internet Explorer, Midi music started playing from the page and now I am unable to turn it off. As I was searching for the lyrics to “America the Beautiful” to insert a phrase into a homily for a newsletter, you can now imagine what I am hearing, over and over.
Oh, wait, it stopped. No, scratch that — it’s replaying now. How nice. One must wonder how many hours it will take before shooting oneself with a rusty bullet. Or rebooting the computer, whichever is more attainable at the moment if I cannot find a way to stop it. If rebooting doesn’t help, would someone with a permit please load me their gun?
I love my country, but not THIS much.
