Here are some miscellaneous photos I took over the years that may not be particularly artistic shots, but I really like them.
This first one was taken in 2000 with my first digital camera (Agfa ePhoto) in Dunkirk, New York. I love that pier, at the end of Central Avenue, and I snuck a shot of my photophobic wife and my brother Jeff. it remindes me a little of the painting “Christina's World” as far as her posture and the spacial relation between subject and background. Maybe I'm thinking too much.
This shot was taken 12 October 2003, while visiting the Ellicottville fall festival. I used my Olympus Camedia, and used the original image many times as desktop wallpaper. The farm is just on the outskirts of the city.
