Stopped the car in the middle of Fisher to rescue a slowly crossing turtle. A snapping turtle no doubt. ALl fingers intact, I placed him off the road, all curled up in his (or her) shell. To then be promptly noticed by three kids, one on foot, who I suspect would attempt to abuse it in some way. If he tried, I hope he lost a finger. It really gets to me what he may have done to it after I saved it.

Guess what i got? AIR CONDITIONING for my office. I can actually sit at my desk and not drown in sweat. 90 freaking degrees witha bazillion percent humidity. And it's getting cool in here. i even installed it myself out of both yrgnecy and the need for the additional satisfaction.

I took Susan to Albany for a job interview. We left Monday evening and stayed over in Rensallaer. Saw "Team America" - Impressive puppetry and effort was put into it. Man, it was a satire of both the left and right politically, pulling no punches. And I LOVE the soundtrack.
